A deliciously warm, soft and fruity wine with rich black
cherry and plum fruit and hints of spice.

Light bodied with scents and flavours of tart cherry and
redcurrants followed by hints of vanilla and oak.

Medium bodied with rich, warm and fairly intense black fruit
and hints of sweet spice.
13. RIOJA SANTIAGO CRIANZA 2000 £15.50
Bodegas Rioja Santiago (Rioja Alta, Spain)(D)
100 % Tempranillo and aged for 12 months in new American oak barrels.
Deep cherry colour. An elegant Rioja Crianza with a pronounced cherry
nose and hints of leather, spice and smokiness. Soft and rounded with
great depth of ripe, rich blackberry and spicy fruit In the mouth, firm
structure and persistent finish. About only 7,000 cases made of this wine.
14. LAGUNA DE LA NAVA TEMPRANILLO GRAN RESERVA 1996 £16.95
Bodegas Navarro Lopez (Spain)(D)
A Gran Reserva of great distinction made from 100% Tempranillo and
aged 24 months in French and American oak. Alluring, opulent cherry
and toasted vanilla nose. Full with mature berry fruit combined with
almonds and spice and finishing with an enduring nutty persistence.

15. RIEBEEK RESERVE SHIRAZ 2002 £18.50

A dark, full bodied, spicy wine with a distinct smokiness complemented
by ripe plum and well integrated oak. Rich and lingering in the mouth
with firm structure.
